Dutch-owned Vlisco was established in 1846 and has since spread its colourful Dutch wax fabric designs across the world. Like Woodin, it sells clothing and bags, but the appeal is really all about the fabrics, which tend to be louder and more colourful than Woodin’s comparatively muted offerings. Of its two branches, the beautiful flagship store at Accra Mall is the one not to miss.
