Studio Badge received the honour of being named in Oprah Winfrey’s 2020 Favourite Things list, but it’s not just world-famous TV presenters who know a good thing when they see it. The Accra-based design studio was founded in 2015, with the desire to showcase basic building materials – especially concrete – and low-tech construction methods in a positive new light. Today, the team is kept busy thanks to the high demand for its super-stylish chopping boards, platters and vases. The well-managed online shop aims to dispatch orders within three days.
