Tatale
Vegan cuisine is growing in popularity in Ghana, and nobody does it better than the pioneering Tatale.
Vegan cuisine is growing in popularity in Ghana, and nobody does it better than the pioneering Tatale. The intimate dining room is decked out in tropical statement wallpaper with warm wooden accents, while the menu offers an extensive range of innovative, colourful plant-based dishes. At the helm in the kitchen is chef Ben Asamani, who earned his stripes at London’s acclaimed 222 vegan restaurant. Service is friendly and efficient, prices represent good value for money and the atmosphere is inviting, meaning you’ll want to linger over the likes of fufu with palm nut soup, vegetable stroganoff, made with cashew cream, and an abolo corn cake with seasonal greens and black-eyed peas.
