Adi Lake Resort
Much easier on the wallet than its glitzier neighbours
Much easier on the wallet than its glitzier neighbours, this waterfront resort makes up for what it lacks in fancy amenities by having a whole lot of heart. Guests can expect a warm welcome, and an accommodation offering that spans standard, executive and chalet-style bungalows.
Many of these have balconies, affording glorious views over the Volta River. The Adoma’s Kitchen restaurant will please hungry travellers, serving the likes of barbecues meats, fish, prawns and oysters at very reasonable prices. The property also has a 30-seater conference room and – our favourite – a floating bar and restaurant, which glides up and down the river while guests drink, eat and swoon over the local flora and fauna.
